Most of what is written about HOA operations is written from other writing. These pages are not. Each one is built from primary sources we read ourselves (vendor pricing pages, enacted bill text, official state codes), and each one carries the date it was read, so you can tell a current fact from a stale one.
Everything here is free to reuse with attribution. If you find something wrong, tell us; every change is logged, dated, on our updates page.

HOA Software Pricing Transparency Dataset
Thirty HOA and condo software and service vendors: whether each publishes a price for its own service, what it publishes, the model it charges on, and the date we last read it at the vendor’s page. Eleven of thirty publish nothing at all. Includes normalised monthly cost at 100 units.

How we work
- Primary sources first. Statutes come from official state code and enacted bill text, not from summaries. Prices come from the vendor’s own page, not from review aggregators.
- Every fact carries a date. Prices change; statutes change. A figure without a read date is not usable, so ours always have one.
- We publish our own errors. When a later read falsifies something we published, the page is fixed and the change is logged, dated, on our updates page.
- We publish what we could not verify. Named gaps are more useful to a board than a confident claim we cannot support.

Disclosure. No vendor pays for placement, ranking or coverage in any research on this site, and no vendor sees a page before it is published. The state law comparison table covers 49 states across reserve, records, meeting, election and oversight rules, each cell cited to the statute, with a CSV download (CC BY 4.0). The table and the CSV both hold 49 states as of September 21, 2026, with Tennessee the most recent addition.
